Prince George / Full trip pack
Centennial Connector Trail
https://hikingprincegeorge.com/hikes/centennial-connector-trail
A long urban circuit links the river parks, Moore’s Meadow and the university hillside around the Prince George Bowl. It combines paths and sidewalks, with one substantial hill climb and several park-specific access rules.
1. Getting there and parking
You can join the circuit at several locations, with established starting options at Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park, Cottonwood Island Park or the university. The historic kilometre-zero reference is at the memorial park. Choose a starting point with lawful parking for a full-day walk and download the city route map first; a network closure may require a signed public diversion.
2. Walking the route
From the memorial park, the historical circuit goes north through the Heritage River Trail and Cottonwood Island, then follows the Nechako toward Cameron Street bridge. It continues by Second Avenue, Fifth Avenue near Central Street, Tabor Boulevard and First Avenue to Moore’s Meadow. From there it heads south on Foothills Boulevard, climbs University Way, continues around Tyner and descends Ospika toward Ginter’s Meadow. Massey Drive links toward Carrie Jane Gray Park and the wetland paths back to the river. The City now warns that some Nechako riverside sections are unavailable: obey current signs and do not cross private property to force the old circuit. The full approximately 30 km outing is different from a short connector walk, and pet rules change between parks.
3. Route map
Published locations only. A complete route line is still needed.
Published locations
Numbered points match the map. Use the role beside each point. A summit or park reference point is not a parking location.

The official park location identifies one documented access area; it does not establish the precise trail entrance or parking location. 5. Camping, facilities and seasons
Season and access
Municipal page says some Nechako River sections are no longer available. This is an access restriction, not simply seasonal; do not render an uninterrupted navigable loop.
