A city riverside corridor passes wooded sections and open areas along bends of the Fraser. It can be walked as a return route of chosen length or linked between separate entrances.

1. Getting there and parking

Common approaches are Fraser River Benchland Park and the lower end of Cowart Road. Choose the entrance that fits your intended section and confirm public access before leaving the vehicle. A river-centre coordinate is not a parking area, and the two named entrances should not be treated as a complete loop without a mapped connection.

2. Walking the route

Follow the established riverside path through woodland and clearings, choosing a turnaround that gives the desired length. The published 5–7 km range depends on how far you continue rather than identifying one fixed circuit. Some sections are rocky and others can become muddy with the season, so the walk is less uniform than a paved urban path. Keep to the public corridor and away from unstable river edges. If walking point-to-point, arrange the second endpoint first; otherwise reverse the same route to the entrance you used.

3. Route map

Published locations

Numbered points match the map. Use the role beside each point. A summit or park reference point is not a parking location.
