Waterfall destination; public lawful access and current trailhead require confirmation.

1. Getting there and parking

The published access link points into the Herrick Creek drainage northeast of Prince George, but the article does not provide a complete named-road and junction sequence. A June 3, 2026 visitor report identifies a ribbon at the main road as the suggested walking start. Use a current forestry access map and verify the legal, passable road approach before treating the destination coordinate as a driveable trailhead.

2. Walking the route

The falls lie on Herrick Creek and require leaving the road for a short descent through rough ground. The June 2026 report says most of the old trail had disappeared, with a ribbon placed to reduce the amount of bushwhacking. That is a dated visitor aid, not a maintained marked trail. The published GPS outing is under a kilometre, but no dependable junction sequence or safe riverbank access line was established in the prose. Locate a route that can be reversed and stay clear of the steep bank and fast water.

5. Camping, facilities and seasons

Season and access

The June 2026 report describes largely lost tread even in dry conditions. Snow, wet brush or high water can make the short approach more difficult; no winter route was verified.

Measurement notes

The published 0.90 km recording and 53 m ascent cover a partial track. They do not establish the distance or ascent of a complete visit.
