Ness Lake Regional Park

https://hikingprincegeorge.com/hikes/ness-lake-regional-park

A small lake park with a beach and short walking network near Ness Lake Road. It is useful for a gentle woodland walk followed by a picnic or lakeside visit.

1. Getting there and parking

Approach via Ness Lake Road and turn onto Lakeside Drive for the regional park, approximately 30 km from Prince George. This is Ness Lake Regional Park, separate from the nearby Eskers Park entrance farther along the road system. The published day-use season is May 1–November 1, with hours of 6 am–11 pm.

Source approximate distance from Prince George; starting point and road-versus-direct method are not established.

2. Walking the route

Use the park’s 1.2 km of trails to link the wooded areas with the lake and beach. The source gives a network length rather than a defined return hike, so choose your circuit from the park layout and return to the same access. Picnic tables, changing rooms and toilets are listed. Canoeing and swimming are possible from the beach; winter ice fishing is also mentioned, but this is not an assessment of ice strength or confirmation of winter vehicle access.

3. Route map

Numbered points match the map. Use the role beside each point. A summit or park reference point is not a parking location.
