1. Getting there and parking
The previously reviewed booking information gives the private campground address as 19649 Blackwater Road, approximately 12 km from Highway 16 west. Confirm the current entrance and booking with the operator before travelling. Do not navigate to West Lake Provincial Park expecting this private campground; the provincial park is a different facility with day-use rules.
2. At the campsite
Use only a campsite confirmed by the private operator, with the required site type and arrival arrangements agreed beforehand. The retained booking evidence listed a May 1–September 13, 2026 season, while the current booking-page recheck did not supply a working page. No verified facility list, on-site walking circuit or future operating dates are established by that failed recheck. Plan nearby hikes as separate outings from their own public trailheads, and do not assume that a provincial-park beach or picnic area permits an overnight stay.
