Use the chosen access trail through the bike-park network to reach Zen Garden, a roughly 300 m section of boardwalks crossing a small stepped creek. The usual complete walk is around 4 km return because it includes the approach and approximately 120 m of climbing. A partial loop can use lower Truck Yeah or the old Swift Creek route via a skid road, but the many mountain-bike junctions make a downloaded network map useful. Watch for riders, keep the boardwalk crossings clear, and expect mud or slippery boards after rain. Tiny cascades and pools are seen from the trail; entering the creek is not necessary to visit them.
1. Getting there and parking
Use 5-Mile Road above Valemount and park near either the Truck Yeah entrance or the Swift Creek number 6 Mainline entrance, according to the approach you have chosen on the local trail map. Pull fully clear of road traffic and bike shuttles. The small Zen Garden segment itself does not have a separate roadside parking lot.
