Elevation profile
A full-route elevation profile is not available yet.
A reusable trail line has not yet been verified for this outing. Any location pin shows the published location described above; it does not draw the hike or establish a navigable approach.
Getting there & parking
The City lists Chancellor Park at 2715 Chancellor Boulevard. Use the public neighbourhood-park entrances and follow any remaining work-site or landscaping signs. This is an urban park visit; the reviewed project page does not identify a dedicated backcountry-style trailhead or measured hiking circuit.
Map position: 53.87274, -122.79666 · park reference point derived inside official boundary. Official City ParkName=Chancellor Park; OBJECTID=1347; active park polygon. Marker computed inside its largest polygon, checked against exterior and holes. Park location marker for orientation; not a source-published parking point or trailhead. Neighbourhood park existence does not establish a named hiking route.
On the trail
Use the constructed walking connections around the playground and preserved green space for a short local stroll. The project includes paths intended to improve access through the park, together with swings, climbing and sensory play features. The public update says construction finished in autumn 2025 and final landscaping was planned for spring 2026, but it does not provide a later inspection of every path. Respect any protected planting area or temporary barrier, and do not infer a trail distance or elevation gain from the concept plan.
Conditions & seasons
Season-specific access has not been established in this guide. Read the dated notices and original land-manager information before choosing a departure date.
These are dated research notes. Open the trip planner for current available weather and advisory feeds; no alert found does not establish that a trail or road is open.
Camping & overnight plans
On-route camping permission has not been established for this outing. Check the relevant land manager before planning an overnight stay; a mapped lake, cabin or previous tent location does not confirm permission.
