Getting there & parking
Use Chalet Drive near Murray Ridge Ski Hill. The public trail directory identifies hiking parking on the left before the ski-hill gate, opposite the Nordic trails, with a direct walking connection. Its parking waypoint is 54.518804, -124.217780. A smaller left-hand pullout earlier on Chalet Drive provides separate access to Creek Trail. Check posted access at arrival; these are community-published locations rather than a current operator inspection.
Map position: 54.51806, -124.21164 · source-published trail approach. The route publisher links driving directions to the Murray Ridge ski-hill trails with this explicit destination coordinate. It is retained as the road approach reference and has not been field checked. The separate embedded track is not copied.
On the trail
Choose orange Creek Trail or the yellow Summit access using the public map and current markers. Creek Trail links toward Summit Trail.
Full route notes
Two named walking options now have public map pages: orange-marked Creek Trail connects uphill toward yellow-marked Summit Trail. The yellow network includes a short access segment and a separate upper mountain line; they are not interchangeable complete outings. Follow the selected mapped connection and return to the parking area used. The upper listing describes about 5 km, but its prose gain of 512 m differs from its displayed 1,557 ft (about 475 m), and the access segment may be additional. A complete outing total remains unverified. The earlier 14.48 km exploratory recording with implausible altitude values is not used.
The way back
Return to the same chosen entrance. The directory splits the yellow trail into access and upper segments, so its upper-line distance is not automatically a car-to-car outing.
Terrain: ridge.
