Elevation profile
A full-route elevation profile is not available yet.
A reusable trail line has not yet been verified for this outing. Any location pin shows the published location described above; it does not draw the hike or establish a navigable approach.
Getting there & parking
The reported outing starts at the end of Christina Road in the Pilot Mountain area and finishes at Nechako Ridge lookout on North Nechako Road West. Arrange the return from the separate endpoint before starting, or plan a substantially longer out-and-back. Confirm public access and parking at both ends; the short summit-road gate is not the starting point used in this account.
Map position: 54.00350, -122.85402 · source-published trail approach. The route publisher explicitly labels a Google Maps directions link "Directions to trail"; its destination is retained as the approach reference. It has not been field checked. The separate embedded track is not copied.
On the trail
The report links connecting trails from Pilot Mountain through the Pidherny system and onward to the Nechako Ridge lookout. It describes a roughly 7 km one-way concept, while the posted exploratory recording is 10.39 km and explicitly includes unnecessary bushwhacking. Those are not two verified variants of a clean maintained route. Review the original map and trip explanation to identify the intended connections, then stay on current public trails and avoid copying the off-trail detours. Pidherny is shared with mountain bikes, so remain alert at technical or descending trails. A complete verified junction sequence is still missing from the public text.
