Map & elevation
Elevation profile
A full-route elevation profile is not available yet. The mapped paths have not been verified as one continuous outing.
Choose a specific route where available. Individual map fragments are not shown as separate hike stages.
City mapped trail segments / park network; not a single measured hiking itinerary. Line source (opens original source).
Getting there & parking
Approach along 17th Avenue toward the Fraser River and use the signed public park entrances. This is a convenient start for a short park walk or a longer connection to Hudson’s Bay Wetland and the Heritage River Trail. Pets are not permitted in the park, including when it is being used as an approach to another trail.
Map position: 53.90635, -122.73442 · park reference point derived inside official boundary. Official City ParkName=Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park; OBJECTID=1353; active park polygon. Marker computed inside its largest polygon, checked against exterior and holes. Park location marker for orientation; not a source-published parking point or trailhead. Neighbourhood park existence does not establish a named hiking route.
On the trail
Choose the park pathways or signed connections to Hudson’s Bay Wetland and the Heritage River system.
Within the active Lheidli T’enneh cemetery, remain on the paved path.
Full route notes
Use the park paths to explore river views, gardens and the pavilion, with optional connections to the wetland or Heritage River Trail for a longer outing. Picnic sites, benches and full washrooms support a short family visit, while the playground and seasonal spray park are separate attractions. Stay on the paved path through the cemetery and treat it as an active burial place rather than an area to roam. The park has several possible circuits rather than one prescribed hiking distance. Check the seasonal availability of individual attractions and avoid routing a dog walk through this pet-free park.
Conditions & seasons
Active Lheidli T’enneh cemetery: stay on paved path and treat burial ground respectfully.
These are dated research notes. Open the trip planner for current available weather and advisory feeds; no alert found does not establish that a trail or road is open.
Camping & overnight plans
On-route camping permission has not been established for this outing. Check the relevant land manager before planning an overnight stay; a mapped lake, cabin or previous tent location does not confirm permission.
