Map & elevation
Elevation profile
A full-route elevation profile is not available yet. The mapped paths have not been verified as one continuous outing.
Choose a specific route where available. Individual map fragments are not shown as separate hike stages.
City mapped trail segments / park network; not a single measured hiking itinerary. Line source (opens original source).
Getting there & parking
Use the park at 2425 Ross Crescent. Enter by the signed public park access and choose the path toward the playground or dog area according to your visit. The fenced off-leash enclosure is a distinct facility; it is not permission to let dogs roam through the playground or sports areas.
Map position: 53.91663, -122.75980 · park reference point derived inside official boundary. Official City ParkName=Duchess Park; OBJECTID=1083; active park polygon. Marker computed inside its largest polygon, checked against exterior and holes. Park location marker for orientation; not a source-published parking point or trailhead. Neighbourhood park existence does not establish a named hiking route.
On the trail
Follow the lit multi-use paths between the park’s recreation areas and return by a path of your choice. Benches and picnic tables support a short stop, and the City lists accessible toilets and playground facilities. The fenced dog area includes a separate small-dog section. Tennis courts become an ice rink in winter, so seasonal activities may change how busy the paths are. The municipal source does not publish a measured hiking circuit or elevation gain for this park.
Terrain: rough route.
Conditions & seasons
Season-specific access has not been established in this guide. Read the dated notices and original land-manager information before choosing a departure date.
Winter route
The park has lit multi-use trails; its tennis courts become an ice rink in winter. This does not establish that every walking path is cleared.
These are dated research notes. Open the trip planner for current available weather and advisory feeds; no alert found does not establish that a trail or road is open.
Camping & overnight plans
On-route camping permission has not been established for this outing. Check the relevant land manager before planning an overnight stay; a mapped lake, cabin or previous tent location does not confirm permission.
