Getting there & parking

From Prince George, use Highway 16 east and Upper Fraser Road to reach the signed regional-park entrance on Eaglet Lake, about 50 km northeast of the city. Upper Fraser Road is the address listed by the Regional District; the lakefront park entrance is the intended vehicle destination rather than an arbitrary point on the lake.

On the trail

Use the park’s short paths beside the creek, marsh and Eaglet Lake for birdwatching and a lakeshore walk. The 13-hectare park also has a swimming area, picnic tables, fire pits, washrooms and change houses. It is a small day-use nature visit rather than a continuous trail around Eaglet Lake. The operator does not publish a confirmed circuit distance, measured gain or detailed accessibility standard on the page reviewed.

The way back

Choose a short park walk beside the creek, marsh and lake and return to the same entrance. The operator does not publish a complete measured lakeshore circuit.

Conditions & seasons

The Regional District lists the park as open May 1 to November 1, from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Check current opening information before an early-spring, late-autumn or winter visit.

These are dated research notes. Open the trip planner for current available weather and advisory feeds; no alert found does not establish that a trail or road is open.
