Elevation profile
A full-route elevation profile is not available yet.
A reusable trail line has not yet been verified for this outing. Any location pin shows the published location described above; it does not draw the hike or establish a navigable approach.
Getting there & parking
Leave Highway 16 for the Crescent Spur/Loos road system. The June 2024 trip account places this unsigned trail start approximately 26 km along the road approach from the highway. Use the author’s linked access map to identify the exact spur and final stopping point; the prose does not document every forest-road junction or a formal parking bay. Confirm current industrial-road access and park fully clear of traffic.
Map position: 53.67281, -120.56913 · start point of published trip track (parking unverified). Embedded trip-map feature 'Hellroaring Falls Track 6/28/24 3:07:22 PM': first recorded coordinate [-120.569126, 53.67281]. Point extracted from the original public trip map. A track start is evidence of where recording began, not certification of parking, legal access, road suitability or the complete route.
On the trail
Locate the actual path through the brush; the report describes about 230 m from the road to the falls.
Full route notes
The source describes a short, unsigned path through brush, approximately 230 m from the road to the waterfall. Locate the actual tread before leaving the vehicle and return on the same line; no maintained loop or alternative exit was established. The recorded outing is longer than twice a perfectly straight road-to-falls distance because it includes the walker’s actual approach and viewpoints. Wet ground, brush and the waterfall edge make the very short distance a poor measure of footing difficulty.
The way back
Return by the same path. The recorded trip includes its own approach and viewpoints, and does not establish a maintained loop.
Conditions & seasons
The published observation is from June 2024 and does not establish current clearing, winter parking or a maintained snow route. Forest-road and river conditions need a current check.
These are dated research notes. Open the trip planner for current available weather and advisory feeds; no alert found does not establish that a trail or road is open.
Camping & overnight plans
On-route camping permission has not been established for this outing. Check the relevant land manager before planning an overnight stay; a mapped lake, cabin or previous tent location does not confirm permission.
