Getting there & parking
Follow Highway 16 west from Prince George and turn onto Norman Lake Road for the signed Berman Lake park access. The regional district places the park about 45 km west of the city. Choose the entrance for the beach lawn or the treed picnic-and-canoe area; these are separate day-use areas within the same park. The current published operating period is May 1–November 1, 6 am–11 pm.
Estimated drive from Prince George: 40 min. Source-published approximate 40-minute drive from Prince George to Berman Lake. No fixed city starting point, current traffic model or precise parking destination is specified; check the park access directions.

Walking options
Follow the park’s approximately 3 km of paths along the shoreline and over naturally formed gravel ridges. A short walk can stay near one picnic area; a longer outing explores the wooded links between shoreline sections. The treed area has a canoe-launch dock, while the open lawn leads to the beach and swimming area. Use the marked paths around the eskers instead of cutting down their slopes. Picnic tables, toilets and changing facilities are listed, but camping is prohibited. Fire pits do not override any current fire restriction.
