Sources reviewed . This is a research date, not a trail inspection.
The published measurements describe the wider trail network. Your walk’s length and climbing depend on the trails you choose. The notes below describe the available walking options.

Elevation profile
A full-route elevation profile is not available yet. The mapped paths have not been verified as one continuous outing.

Getting there & parking
Use the City’s listed access at 1010 Ospika Boulevard. This entrance serves Wilson Park on the south side of the Nechako; a river-centre pin or a route on the opposite bank is not an equivalent trailhead. Follow public park signs and keep any nearby residential or service access clear.

Map position: 53.91570, -122.79608 · civic park address. Official published civic address matched exactly by BC Address Geocoder; not verified trailhead or parking. Park location marker for orientation; not a source-published parking point or trailhead. Neighbourhood park existence does not establish a named hiking route.
Walking options
Explore the paths along the southern riverbank and choose a return through the same park network. The municipal listing gives 2.5 km of trails rather than a prescribed loop. River viewpoints provide places to stop, with a picnic table and outhouse also listed. Keep dogs leashed throughout. If extending onto other riverside paths, check the current signed access: the City warns that portions of the broader Heritage River Trail along the Nechako are unavailable, so an older long-distance itinerary is not proof of a continuous connection.
Conditions & seasons
Season-specific access has not been established in this guide. Read the dated notices and original land-manager information before choosing a departure date.
These are dated research notes. Open the trip planner for current available weather and advisory feeds; no alert found does not establish that a trail or road is open.
Camping & overnight plans
On-route camping permission has not been established for this outing. Check the relevant land manager before planning an overnight stay; a mapped lake, cabin or previous tent location does not confirm permission.
